Dermal Fillers in Oklahoma City
Considering dermal fillers or permanent makeup in Oklahoma City? We offer a variety of non-surgical cosmetic enhancements like BOTOX, dermal fillers, and permanent makeup.
There is no better complement to your smile than great skin. BOTOX can be safely used to relax facial muscles to correct existing lines and prevent new wrinkles from forming. It can improve the appearance of crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead creases. Relief from migraines and headaches, brow lifts and correction of a gummy smile are also possible with BOTOX. Results take two weeks to reach full efficacy and the results typically last 3-4 months.
As our skin ages, it gradually loses its major constituents: collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Dermal fillers are a great option to help replenish these materials in deficient areas to reverse the signs of aging by instantly correcting, enhancing and restoring volume. They are used to reduce or eliminate lines and wrinkles around the mouth, lift the corners of the mouth, enhance the lips and replace soft-tissue volume loss. Depending on the area, results typically last between 6 months to 1 year.
Permanent makeup allows women to skip the morning routine of applying color to the lips, cheeks or eyes. Permanent makeup is a tattooing technique through which pigment, formulated for the face, is placed into the dermal layer of the facial skin. This process inputs permanent colored pigments into eyebrows, eyes, lips, and cheek areas. All permanent makeup is applied by Erin Roberts, RDH. Anesthesia and sedation is available.
Permanent makeup is commonly applied to the following areas.
The shape and color of the lips will be discussed at the time of the consultations. The client may draw on the shape that they want prior to arrival or they can wait and the nurse may draw on the shape for the client. It is important that anyone who has had herpes simplex viruses and/or has had a cold sore take the prescription medicine Famvir®(anti-viral) prior to the procedure. Another option is to purchase L-Lysine, an over the counter vitamin that seems to inhibit cold sores. Anesthetic will be a combination of topical numbing cream and injections.
One of our most common procedures performed, the shape, thickness and color of the clients eyeliner will be discussed at the time of the consultation. On the day of the procedure the client has the option of either wearing their eyeliner to the appointment or she can wait and have the nurse apply it when she arrives. Anesthetic is topical numbing cream.
The shape, thickness and color of the client’s eyebrows will be discussed at the time of the consultation/procedure. On the day of the procedure the client has the option of either drawing on the eyebrows prior to arriving at the appointment or she can wait and have the nurse draw the eyebrows on for her when she arrives.
